Overview
AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking an eDiscovery Project Manager to be in their Philadelphia office. This role will be focused on regional support, but works with recourses and other cases teams nationally. The Project Manager will be very client facing and will be responsible for proactive engagement with eDiscovery to gain substantive knowledge of the matter, development of workflows and process to achieve the understood goals of the clients with efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities:
- Manages collection, processing, culling, review and hosting of electronic
data as well as all hard copy or opposing productions
- Develops workflows and budget projects and drive management of the
project from start to finish to meet pre-established deadlines and
costs
- Uses deep understanding of eDiscovery to provide technical as well as
substantive solutions for managing data
- Provides guidance and support in setting up review databases for client
end-user
- Assists with setting up processing and culling workflow to promote
relevant material into new database for review
- Answers questions, supports and trains on new review platform
- Assists in structuring efficient reviews, coding templates and
productions
- Provides reporting to aid in all facets of workflow
- Provides product training on all litigation support tools as well as
coordinating with I.S. Department training resources
- Acts as client facing resource and “sales” point to internal
firm clients as well as presentations to external clients on firm’s
ediscovery capabilities and solutions
- Proactively engages with the case team and develops a workflow and budget
for that workflow, which can be clearly presented
- Uses workflows and budgets to show value to case teams and clients
- Communicates project status to relevant parties and provides reporting as
needed
- Tracks time in project management software accurately to maintain central
repository for matter analytics and data
- Provides day-to-day supervision of direct/indirect/dotted line personnel
(including temporary or contract)
Requirements:
- Previous law firm experience: litigation support, paralegal, attorney
roles where full EDRM in-sourced solutions where offered or eDiscovery
consulting firm experience
- Deep familiarity and understanding of full EDRM lifecycle
- Previous supervisory experience considered a plus
- Familiar with the litigation process, including all phases of discovery
and trial (pleadings, document requests, depositions, interrogatories,
requests for admissions, trial examination of witnesses, and admission of
exhibits
- Familiar with the following hardware/software: (must not have experience
with all)
- Software: Autonomy, LAW, Introspect, Stratify, Nuix, eCapture,
Relativity, Ringtail, DocuMatrix, Summation, Concordance, LiveNote, IPRO,
Trial Director, Sanction, CaseMap/TimeMap, and the Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), Lotus Notes, Windows operating
system
- Hardware: Scanners, presentation hardware (projectors,
“ELMO”, etc.), CD/DVD
